In the yoga pose Down Dog, I can't straighten my legs. Is it worth doing the pose consistently with bent legs?
I'm hoping they'll straighten with practice. Should I do other stretches to stretch my hamstrings first and then do Down Dog with straight legs?
Yoga teachers and people who can do Down Dog with straight legs.
Also, should feet be together or hip width apart?
Thanks!
Pregnant and downward facing dog yoga pose?
Hello I am 5 and a half months pregnant. I have been doing pregnancy yoga. The video shows pregnant women doing the downward facing dog pose. I am afraid to do this pose b/c it might confuse the baby and make him turn breech. Is this founded?
And yes, I am serious.
Does anyone know the name of this yoga pose?
I don't have a picture, so I will just describe the posture.
You are sitting on the floor with both legs wide apart and they are stretched. Your back is stretched upward. Both arms are stretched up alongside the ears. So your body shape is something like this ┴

I've been doing this one yoga pose but it hurts my wrists?
I have been practicing the mayurasana yoga pose a.k.a. the peacock pose. I've held it for about ten seconds tops. But when i do it, it really hurts my wrists because i have to bend them back. Here is a picture: http://www.sanatansociety.org/yoga_and_meditation/images/gp_asana_mayurasana_jpg.jpg
Do you have any suggestions for me to keep my wrists from hurting? and type of bandages i can put around my wrists when I do this?
